2025 Call for Student Posters- CLOSED

The New York State Public Health Association (NYSPHA), New York State Association of County Health Officials (NYSACHO), and the New York State Association for Rural Health (NYSARH) invite students to submit a proposal to present at the 2025 NYS Public Health Partnership Conference. Proposal submission deadline is February 28, 2025 by 5:00 PM ET.

The conference will be held April 30-May 2, 2025 at the Ithaca Downtown Conference Center in Ithaca, New York. The Public Health Partnership Conference is a one-of-a-kind event in NYS where public health professionals and students from all settings can engage in public health learning opportunities designed to enhance professional growth and renewal. Additionally, the conference can provide you with takeaways that will aid in the critical work you do to improve community health outcomes.

Theme

This year's theme is "Public Health in a Changing World."

Topics*

1. Addressing Health Inequities and Social Determinants of Health

2. Environmental Health and Climate and Health Adaptation
3. Emergency Preparedness and Response
4. Digital Health and Health Innovation
5. Health Workforce Resilience and Burnout
6. Public Health Communication and Misinformation

*Other areas of public health may also be submitted but priority will be given to those meeting the above topic areas. 

Eligibility

Any full time student in a undergrad or graduate program in New York State may submit an abstract. 

How to Submit

• All student poster abstract proposals must be submitted online via our abstract submission website (https://app.oxfordabstracts.com/stages/78010/submitter)
• Submissions must be made by 5:00 PM on February 28, 2025. Submissions sent via email will not be considered.
• Presenters may not submit more than one proposal.

Decisions will be made by April 2, 2025 and we will provide you with logistical instructions.

Registration

Students who are selected to present their posters will receive a free conference registration for Day 2 of the conference (May 2nd). Students who wish to attend Day 1 of the conference (May 1st) can register at the discounted student rate. If your poster is selected for display, you must attend the conference in person on May 2nd to present your poster.
