Policy & AdvocacyDuties: The Committee shall solicit and consider suggestions from the members of the Association for an annual policy agenda. The Committee shall assist the President and Executive Director with responses to requests for support of public health legislation on behalf of the Association. ClimateDuties: The NYSPHA Climate Committee promotes climate health and equity for all New Yorkers through Education, Communication, Advocacy, and Action. Events/Annual Meeting PlanningDuties: Responsible for planning events including part-taking in the planning for the Annual Conference for NYSPHA. The Committee should also perform other duties assigned by the President or the Chair of the Events Committee.
