Policy & Advocacy

Duties:

The Committee shall solicit and consider suggestions from the members of the Association for an annual policy  agenda. The Committee shall assist the President and Executive Director with responses to requests for support of public health legislation on behalf of the Association. The Committee shall perform such other duties as from time-to-time may be assigned by the President and/or the Board.

Public Health in Action

Duties

Strategizes and creates opportunities for NYSPHA members to engage in direct public health practice.

Duties

Responsible for planning events including part-taking in the planning for the Annual Conference for NYSPHA. The Committee should also perform other duties assigned by the President or the Chair of the Events Committee.
