Climate Health is Public Health: A Night at the Museum of the Earth Join us on April 30, 2025 for Climate Health is Public Health: A Night at the Museum of the Earth! The NYSPHA Climate Committee, and co-host Cornell Public Health, invite conference attendees and other interested parties for an evening of education, networking and entertainment at the Museum of the Earth, ten minutes from the Ithaca Conference Center. The evening begins with a reception and guided tour of the museum’s special climate exhibit. Next up, a youth panel drawn from Ithaca-area high schools will share a youth perspective on combating climate change. Teenagers Ace Dufresne, Tyler Franzese, Hunter Barlow, Anna Agrawal, and Ada Goldweber are confirmed panelists. New York Assemblymember Anna Kelles will moderate. A dinner buffet with climate conscious vegetarian and vegan options follows the Youth Climate Panel. It all wraps up with "Climate Cafe" roundtable discussions during which attendees can share their feelings around climate change and brainstorm ways to move forward. A separate registration is required for this event. Conference registration is not required to attend this event.
