I’m pleased to introduce myself as the next president of NYSPHA for the 2022-23 term. 

Together with our Board of Directors, I am looking forward to building a membership-driven organization which means that we want to get to know you, we want you to get to know us, and we want your input, expertise, and energy in supporting our organization so that together we can make things happen.

Public health is a dynamic field, and there are always new issues on the forefront. We banded together to address the COVID-19 pandemic; now we have new issues that challenge us including the mental health impact of the pandemic, gun violence, reproductive rights, and inclusivity for racial/ethnic minorities and the LGBTQ+ community.
