Starting in 2021, the New York State Public Health Association (NYSPHA) undertook a New Directions Initiative to adjust to the evolving needs of the public health workforce in New York State. The New Directions Initiative was driven by a survey and five listening sessions with members and potential members to learn about their perceptions and experiences with NYSPHA and to elicit feedback on potential improvements. In this webinar, we will share the results of the Initiative and steps we have taken to improve membership experience. Also, because it is important for us to get feedback from as many people as possible, we will conduct a condensed listening session at the end of the presentation, so please come prepared with your thoughts and suggestions!
