The Police-Led Treatment Referral Program for Substance Users

By participating in this webinar you will:

1.  Identify common barriers to seek substance use treatment

2.  Understand how police may be able to help address some of these barriers and encourage treatment seeking among substance users by providing direct access to treatment rather than arrest

3.  Discuss possible long-term implications of this approach on substance users' life trajectories from a public health perspective
