Here is your chance to compete with other students from schools of public health in New York (and surrounding states) to highlight and share a health promotion / prevention issue with other professionals across the state.
Design a poster that has a specific focus in public health; following the theme of the 2018 NYSPHA Annual Conference, but also in an area of interest to you and relevant to other conference attendees.
Posters will be judged by NYSPHA Board Members on the following criteria: general interest to public health professionals, originality, educational value and overall presentation. Student posters will be selected for display at the conference from all submitted entries. Students who are selected to display posters and who attend the conference will be awarded a $50 travel stipend.
First, second and third place winners will each receive an award and a free one-year
membership to NYSPHA. There is an additional prize for a poster selected by the membership as the "Member's Choice." The winners and the schools represented will also be
acknowledged on our website. All winners will be awarded at the reception. If
your poster is selected for display, you must attend the conference to present
To enter, simply fill out the entry form and follow the directions for submission. Entries must be submitted at www.OpenConf.org/nyspha and received by 5 PM on March 23rd. We hope you will consider submitting a poster - we look forward to seeing you in April!
